A visit to the Noguchi Museum

It took Joey some time to warm up and get comfortable yesterday, but overall the experience was much better than last weekend’s baseball practice disaster. Well, he’s not into sports, but he does love museums! Obviously I couldn’t be happier.

Anyway, We love the Noguchi Museum! They have wonderful programs for kids on the weekends. Yesterday’s program began with a tour of the museum and then we reflected on a couple of sculptures. Using inspiration from pieces created by Gonzalo Fonseca (an incredible artist who was a close friend of Isamu Noguchi. His art is being displayed at the museum for a limited time), we then created our own mini sculptures. Check out how much fun Joey had!
